There are two Visions behind Text The Word...

1.   To spread the Biblical message more widely
At Text The Word, our passion and prayer is to make God's Word known and loved more widely. We draw our content from the whole breadth of Scripture, thereby encouraging Christians young and old to discover parts of the Bible that may be less familiar.

Subscribers receive verses by sms text messages sent directly to their mobile phones, an accessible way into the Bible for many. The other way we spread God's Word is by donating to charities whose mission is to translate and distribute the Bible throughout the world.

2.   To contribute financially to the needs of the world
We make donations from subscription income to local, national and international charities, and respond to appeals to alleviate suffering from natural or man-made disasters.

So by subscribing to Text The Word, you receive verses from the Bible by way of encouragement or challenge as you live out your own Christian life, and you also contribute to this charitable giving.
