"For me, Text the Word is a great mission in two ways. Firstly, it helps spread the word of God by supporting charities both close to home and worldwide - in particular charities dedicated to translating the Bible into new languages, and distributing Bibles to countries where the word of God is yet unknown, or restricted by the government. Other works supported include aid relief charities and medical research charities.

"Secondly, it helps me personally to grow in my faith, by encouraging and reminding me to read the Bible on a regular basis. It is refreshing to read Bible verses from a part of the Bible I've never looked at before, and then to go and look up the whole passage. It is particularly encouraging, when after reading an inspirational verse in the morning, my whole day is spent reflecting on it and slowly becoming stronger in faith." (Hywel)
